Ithaca Women's Lacrosse Team Maintains National Ranking; Fisher Also Receiving Votes
The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) released its
week six poll and Ithaca College matched its ranking from a week ago, staying at No. 13. St. John Fisher College is among teams also receiving votes.
The Bombers have earned four victories this season with their losses coming to three top-10 teams in #3 Cortland, #4 Gettysburg and #8 Franklin & Marshall.
The Bombers return to action on Saturday, April 6 with a 1 p.m. Empire 8 game at Nazareth.
Fisher opened Empire 8 Conference play with a dominant 15-3 win over visiting Elmira College last weekend. The win improved the Cardinals overall record to 7-2 on the year.
The Cardinals will continue their four-game home stand on Saturday when they host Empire 8 member Utica College at 1 p.m.
