St. John Fisher head coach Bob Simms has been voted the Empire 8 Men’s Golf Coach of the Year by the coaches in the league. This marks the third straight year Simms has earned the honor.

Fisher won the 12-13 Empire 8 Conference Championship for the eighth time in the last nine years. The Cardinals shot a four-round total of 1,212, beating runner-up finisher University of Scranton by 63 strokes. With the win, Fisher earned the automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship.
