Cahill Runs in 5K at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (April 25, 2013) - Stevens Institute of Technology outdoor track student-athlete Michael Cahill ran at the first day of the Penn Relays on April 25. Cahill competed in the 5,000-meter run on the opening day of the meet.
Cahill placed 11th overall out of 24 runners and was the top Division III participants in the 5K. He posted a time of 14:45.15 to beat the next closest DIII runner by almost 10 seconds. Cahill broke his own school record by 43 seconds (15:28) en route to the 28th fastest time in the NCAA this season.
