Ithaca Men's Track & Field Team Wins Seven Events at Tuesday Meet

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men’s track & field team hosted Ithaca’s Tuesday Meet at Butterfield Stadium and won seven events.
On the track, Bombers won the 400-meter dash, 110 hurdles and 4x100 relay. Sophomore Mason Mann won the 400 in 50.76. Senior Matt Confer crossed the finish line of the high hurdles in 16.97 and the Bombers’ 4x100 team of sophomore Rashaad Barrett, junior Brennan Edmonds, sophomore Kevin Davis and freshman Jeff Hejna teamed together for a first-place finish of 43.45.
Ithaca won the high jump, pole vault, triple jump and javelin.
Junior Brendan Wilkins won the high jump with a clear of 1.90 meters. Classmate Jarrod Monacelli cleared 4.15 meters in the pole vault to take top honors. Rookie De’Marquis Graves won the triple jump with a mark of 12.98 meters and freshman Jevaughn Gibbs threw 43.61 meters in the javelin to win the event.
The Bombers will be sending student-athletes to compete in the historic Penn Relays April 25-26.
