Bomber Men's T&F Team Competes in Four Events Friday at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Ithaca College men’s track & field team competed in four events Friday at the historic Penn Relay Carnival hosted at Franklin Field.
The Bombers’ 4x100-meter relay team of sophomore Rashaad Barrett, junior Brennan Edmonds, sophomore Kevin Davis and freshman Jeff Hejna clocked an ECAC-qualifying time of 43.25 in the event.
Barrett, freshman Jordan Smith, Davis and Hejna competed in the 4x200 relay to finish with a time of 1:30.18.
Sophomores Kyle MacKinnon and Mason Mann, Smith and Edmonds teamed together to finish the 1,600 relay in 3:24.62.
Senior captain Brian Maley was Ithaca’s lone individual competitor on the day. He finished 14th out of 25 in the long jump with a mark of 6.67 meters, just three centimeters shy of the ECAC mark.
The Bombers will conclude competition at the Penn Relays Saturday. A crew will race in the 4x800 relay scheduled to take place at 4:40 p.m.
