Regan Runs in 5K at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (April 25, 2013) - Stevens Institute of Technology outdoor track student-athlete Amy Regan ran at the first day of the Penn Relays on April 25. Regan competed in the 5,000-meter run on the opening day of the meet.
Regan was the second-best DIII competitor in the women's portion of the 5K with a time of 17:03.41. She finished 19th in the event out of 31 entries and was 41 seconds better than the next closest divisional counterpart that finished after her. Regan shattered the school record by over two minutes (19:04) for the fifth best time in the country this season. She also holds the second fastest time among freshmen in DIII.
