Bomber Men's T&F Team Competes Saturday at Muhlenberg Invitational

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Ithaca College men’s track & field team competed Saturday at the Muhlenberg Invitational. The Bombers hit two ECAC qualifiers and had nine top-five finishes.
Senior Brian Maley leaped 6.76 meters to meet the ECAC qualifier and place fourth in the long jump.
The Bombers’ 4x100-meter relay team of sophomore Rashaad Barrett, junior Brennan Edmonds, freshman Jordan Smith and junior Jake Willis placed third with an ECAC-qualifying time of 43.53. Willis also placed fourth in the 200 with a time of 22.76.
Sophomore Dennis Ryan and senior Billy Savage finished three-four in the 800 run. Ryan clocked a 1:58.45 finish and Savage followed in 1:58.49.
Senior David Geary placed third in the 1,500 run. He crossed the finish line in 4:06.45. Classmate Nathan Bickell was fourth in the 3,000 steeplechase in 9:58.93.
Junior Brendan Wilkins was the runner-up in the high jump having cleared 1.85 meters.
Sophomores Kyle MacKinnon and Mason Mann teamed with senior Matt Kastler and Edmonds to run third in the 1,600 relay in 3:26.72.
The Bombers will return to action Saturday, April 13 at Moravian’s Coach P’s Invitational.
