Ithaca Remains Ranked in IWLCA Standings; Fisher Receiving Votes

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Ithaca College women's lacrosse team (6-4, 3-0 Empire 8) ranks 13th in week seven of the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association standings, matching its ranking from a week ago. St. John Fisher is among teams also receiving votes.

The Bombers have earned six victories this season with three of their losses coming to top-10 teams in #3 Cortland, #4 Gettysburg and #8 Franklin & Marshall.

Last week the Bombers went 2-1, falling to Union by one goal on April 2. Ithaca then defeated Nazareth 11-9 on April 6 and stayed undefeated in the conference with a 15-9 win over Fisher on April 7.

Ithaca returns to the turf on Saturday, April 13 at Utica for a 3 p.m. game.

Prior to Sunday's game, Fisher cruised to a 13-4 win over Utica on Saturday as the Cardinals opened the game with a 5-0 run and never looked back. 

The Cardinals will play their final home game on Saturday, hosting East Avenue rival Nazareth College at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
