Ithaca Women's T&F Team Meets Four ECAC Qualifiers at Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women’s track & field team competed Saturday at Rochester’s Alumni Invitational finishing fifth out of the 14 teams participating. Ithaca met four ECAC qualifiers and won two events.
Sophomore Alexa Rick won the 10,000-meter run with a 37:18.37 finish. Classmate Meghan Cass followed in third having clocked a 39:29.32 finish.
Freshman Emily Ziegler jumped 5.17 meters in the long jump to win the event.
Sophomore Carolyn Malone clocked an 11:47.51 finish in the 3,000 steeplechase to place fourth.
Ithaca will return to action on Friday and Saturday, April 12-13 at Moravian's Coach P Invitational.
