CoSIDA and Capital One have released its annual Academic All-District baseball teams, and St. John FIsher College senior Ben Bostick represents the Cardinals and Empire 8.

Bostick earned one of three outfielder spots after posting a 3.67 grade point average in the Communications/Journalism program.  This is the Rochester native’s second time making the list, as he earned the honor during his junior season as well.

Bostick ranked near the top in nearly every offensive category for the Cardinals as his 47 hits, 67 total bases and 18 walks are second on the team.  He also had 33 runs scored and 34 RBI on the season. His 15 stolen bases also ties him for first on the team, while his career total of 70 ranks as the most all-time at Fisher. Bostick totaled a .320 batting average and a .456 slugging percentage while appearing in all 42 of Fisher games this year to lead the Cardinals to the ECAC Metro Champoinship and a 28-14 record.
