Rathbun Leads the Way for Fisher on Day Three of NCAA Championship

The St. John Fisher College men’s golf team shot 302 (+18) for the second-straight day in the third round of the NCAA Division III Championship held at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort: The Raven on Thursday afternoon.

After day three of the tournament, Fisher has shot 905 (+49) which is a tie for 10th place with St. John’s (MN), just 12 strokes outside of fourth place. The leader after three rounds is Transylvania, shooting an 876 (+20), followed by Texas at Tyler’s 878 (+22).

Josh Rathbun was the low man for the Cardinals today, shooting a 73 (+2), the second-best score of his collegiate career. The sophomore played his first nine holes on the back side of The Raven, birdying No. 10 and No. 17 to make the turn with a 34 (-2).

For the third-straight day, Joseph Radulski put up a solid score, finishing with a 75 (+4). Radulski is now at 221 (+7) for the tournament, which has him in a tie for 13th place on the player’s leaderboard. The senior will try and make a move into the Top 10 tomorrow as he plays in his final collegiate round.

Corey Haas and Chris Blyth filled the final two spots on the Fisher scorecard for day three, both coming in with a 77 (+6).
