Third Round Update: Sharon Li Moves Back In The Pack
DESTIN, Fla. – Ithaca College sophomore golfer Sharon Li fell from the top-10 in the individual standings after the third round of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship. The four-day, 72-hole event is being played on a par-72 layout at Baytowne Gold Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. The course is playing to 5,831 yards. Li now ranks tied for 23rd overall among the 111 golfers participating in the event.
THIRD ROUND RECAP: Li started her round on the 10th hole and made a double bogey, but followed that with four pars and a birdie. She closed her first nine holes with three bogeys and posted 40. Her second nine included a birdie, three bogeys and a double over the first eight holes. She closed her round with a score of 12 on the par-5 ninth hole to move her from 8-over in the round to a 15-over-par 87.
