Three Compete at NCAA Championships, Randall Advances to Saturday's 800 Final

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Three Ithaca College women’s track & field student-athletes competed Friday at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Senior Jenn Randall, who competed Thursday in the 1,500-meter run, will advance to Saturday’s 800 final after finishing the preliminaries in 2:11.57. The top two finishers from each of the three heats and the three next-best times advance to the final to be held at 4:20 p.m (central time).
Competing in her third NCAA Outdoor Championship, senior Amanda Rissmeyer placed ninth in the high jump matching a career-best height of 1.70 meters. Rissmeyer was one of seven to clear 1.70 meters earning places four through 10. She placed ninth based on two misses at 1.70 meters before clearing the height.
Senior Tammia Hubbard raced in the 100 high hurdle preliminaries, completing the race in 14.64 to finish 19th.
