LA CROSSE, Wis. – Four athletes competed on the final day of the NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Ithaca senior Jenn Randall tallied her second career all-America finish with an eighth-place finish of 2:12.05 in the 800-meter run. She earned her first all-America accolade in the indoor mile run earlier this season with an eighth-place finish.
The top eight finishers in each event earn All-America recognition.
Stevens Institute of Technology freshman Amy Regan took 10th overall in the 5,000 meter run and narrowly missed becoming an All-American by two positions. Regan came in 10 seconds behind the eighth place runner with a time of 17:04.69 and was just one second off her personal best time which qualified Regan for nationals.
Ithaca sophomore Emilia Scheemaker competed in her second national meet and placed 21st in the triple jump with a mark of 11.09 meters.
Rookie Brooke Zimmerman made her national debut in the javelin. She finished 21st with a heave of 36.74 meters.
