Ithaca College senior Jenn Randall and Stevens Institute of Technology senior Alina Duran have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District teams. Randall was honored in district 3 and Duran was recognized in district 2 and will now be advanced to the ballot for Academic All-America honors.

An outstanding multi-sport student-athlete, Randall became a two-time all-American as a senior. She tallied all-America honors in the indoor mile run with an eighth-place finish and placed eighth in the outdoor 800-meter run to claim her second all-America performance. Randall holds indoor school records in the mile and the 500, 800 and 1,000 runs, as well as the 4x400 relay. Outdoors, she owns the school record in the 1,500. Randall is a nine-time Empire 8 champion and a six-time NYSCTC champion.  She graduated with a 3.73 gpa in Clinical Health Studies.

Duran competed solely during the indoor track & field season and became the first indoor All-American in Stevens history. She placed eighth overall in the weight throw at NCAAs with a mark of 17.09 meters. Up to nationals, Duran was undefeated against Division III competition and is the school record holder in shot put (12.04 meters) and weight throw (17.58 meters). To go along with her near unblemished record, Duran took first overall at the ECAC Indoor Championships and was named Empire 8 Indoor Field Athlete of the Meet on January 26 after claiming the shot put and weight throw titles. Duran completed her collegiate career with a 3.46 grade-point average in Civil Engineering.
