UC Men T & F Finish Middle of Pack @ NYSCTC's

Final Results
Canton, NY (5-4-13) - Three Pioneers including senior Sylvester Owusu-Afriyie, sophomore Andrew Hoover and freshman Rob Tutein registered top three tallies to lead the Utica College men's track and field team to sixth place, out of 11 teams, this weekend at the NYSCTC Championships. UC scored 41 total points over the two-day event hosted by Saint Lawrence University.
UC returns to action Saturday, May 11th as the teams prepare its final competition before ECAC’s at the Oneonta State May Meet. Events are set for 3 p.m. and will be held at the All College Track & Field Complex on Oneonta’s campus.e way for the men.
Owusu-Afriyie took second in the 100-meter dash with a clock of 10.95 and also aided the 4x100 meter relay team to a fifth place finish. Hoover hurdled his way to second place in the 400-meter with a final time of 56.00 while Tutein continued his average leap of 1.98 meters in the high jump to scoop third place.
