Sprinters Advance, Women's Team Picks Up Points At NYSCTCs

The St. John Fisher College women’s track and field team scored nine points on Friday, while both teams advanced runners to Saturday’s finals in sprint events at the NYSCTC Championship, hosted by St. Lawrence University.
 
Danyelle Redmond placed fourth in the pole vault, setting a Fisher record at 3.00 meters, earning five points for the Cardinals.  Nicoletta Lattuca scored four points in the long jump, placing fifth overall at 5.17 meters.
 
In other women’s action, Morgan Mastin advanced to the finals in both the 400 and 100.   Her time of 60.06 in the 400-prelims, was a new Fisher record.
Lattuca also qualified in 100-meter dash.
