IWLCA Announces 2013 Academic Awards
Six Empire 8 teams and 19 student-athletes were recognized with academic awards from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).
The IWLCA honored 382 student-athletes from 67 different institutions with inclusion in the 2013 Academic Honor Roll. All student-athletes were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least junior status academically.
Elmira, Houghton, Ithaca, Nazareth, Stevens and Utica were named Academic Squad's by the IWLCA. There were 86 teams recognized with team grade point averages of 3.0 or higher.
