Alfred 1, Oswego 0 (Box Score)
The Alfred University men’s soccer team wrapped up play in the second day of the Oswego tournament with a 1-0 win over Oswego State, Saturday afternoon.
The contest remained scoreless until the 80 minute when freshman midfielder Oumar Soumahoro netted the lone goal of the match, served from senior midfielder Jeffery Thomas to seal the Saxons’ win.

Sophomore Matthew Unick went the distance in goal for AU, making three saves. 

Stevens 5, Clarkson 0 (Box Score)
Freshman forward Jay Mikula continued a torrid start to his collegiate career, scoring another goal and adding an assist, in an overpowering 5-0 victory for No. 13 Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer over Clarkson University on Saturday afternoon.
 
Mikula scored off the bench for the second straight game, giving him an incredible three goals and an assist in just 74 minutes of action to start his career.
 
The Ducks controlled every aspect of the game, limiting the Golden Knights to just four shots (two on target) while ripping 14 (nine on target) themselves.

Stevens finished its season-opening road trip at 2-0-0 with a 9:1 goal ratio.

Houghton 2, Morrisville 1 (Box Score)
Connor Vogan  and Cory Martin scored to lead the Highlander men's soccer squad to a 2-1 win over Morrisville State College on the second day of the Oswego Tournament on Saturday.

Vogan's goal came unassisted in the ninth minute to put Houghton up 1-0, but the Mustangs responded to even the score in the 31st minute.

Martin tallied the game winner in the 59th minute after gathering up a rebound off a Kevin Miranda shot.

Morrisville had an 11-9 advantage in shots.

Oneonta 1, Ithaca 0 (OT) (Box Score)
The Ithaca College men's soccer team (0-1) dropped the opening game of the 2013 season Saturday afternoon, falling to the Oneonta Red Dragons (1-0) by a score of 1-0 in overtime at Carp Wood Field.

Sophomore Kenny Chapman  stopped six of the seven shots he faced, including five in the second half. 
 
Brockport 4, Nazareth 1 (Box Score)
Sophomore Kieran McCoy scored his first-career goal for host Nazareth late in the first half, but Brockport tied the game before halftime, then tallied three second half goals to defeat the Golden Flyers 4-1 in a physical non-conference men's soccer game.
 
McCoy scored at the 42:15 mark of the first half to break the scoreless tie. The scoring opportunity came as a result of a defensive miscue as the Golden Eagle defender intended to head the ball back to his goalkeeper, Casey Sullivan. Sullivan, however, was anticipating the ball to go another direction. McCoy intercepted the pass to score the unassisted goal.

Franklin & Marshall 2, Utica 0 (Box Score)
The Utica College men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision against host Franklin & Marshall in a thunder storm delayed and rainy contest Saturday night.  

After a scoreless first half of play the Diplomats (2-0) got on the board 7:11 into the second half of play when Ben Beaver converted on a penalty kick.
