Elmira Finishes Third; Houghton 12th at Pitt-Bradford Invitational

Bradford, PA -- The Elmira College men's golf team had a good start to the fall season as they finished third at the Pitt-Bradford Invitational with a team score of 313.
Elmira's
Kyle Hyde paced the Soaring Eagles, shooting a team low of 75 on the day, placing him tied for second in the field of over 60 golfers.
Bryce Hanson posted a 77 on 18 holes, placing him tied for 10th.
Evan Clarke checked-in next for the Soaring Eagles as he finished tied for 16th with a score of 80 while
Troy Gordon was just one stroke behind, shooting an 81. Following Gordon was
Jarryd ten Vaanholt who placed tied for 31st with an 84.
Leading the way for the Highlanders was
Evan Castle with a 14-over 86, which was good for 40th.
Jonathan Peck carded a 96,
Ryan Palmer shot 104,
Paul Chapman shot 106, and
Nathan Sircy shot 109.
