Stevens 5, Ramapo 0 (Box Score)
The Stevens Institute of Technology women's soccer team used four second half goals to defeat host Ramapo College, 5-0, on Wednesday afternoon. Stevens is now 2-3 on the season after its second consecutive shutout.

The Ducks struck just seconds into the 12th minute of the match as junior Ann Heine notched the game-winner off a pass from freshman Gabby Mathelier. It is the second goal Heine has scored in the early season.

Stevens turned up the offense after intermission and tallied four goals in a 24-minute span of the second half. Mathelier assisted on the Ducks' second marker from junior Mariah Cleveland just 3:39 into final 45 minutes.

After a score from junior Stephanie Basile in the 60th minute, Mathelier completed her breakout performance with the final two goals of the contest which amounted to her six-point total in the victory. Her first goal came just 28 seconds after Basile found the back of the net and her second took place in the 73rd minute.

Sophomore Evelyn Ting picked up the win in goal for the Ducks in nearly 30 minutes of action with one save. Fellow sophomore Leah Spaulding replaced Ting for the final 60:06 and stopped four shots.

The Ducks outshot Ramapo, 17-10, and took six corners to only two for the Roadrunners.

RIT 1, St. John FIsher 0 (Box Score)
The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at home to the RIT Tigers on Wednesday night.

After a slow first half with just four total shots between the two squads, RIT came out firing in the second half, outshooting Fisher 13-3.  Junior Sierra Kiss scored what would ultimately be the game-winning goal off a rebound from 18 yards out  six minutes into the second half.

Fisher tried to make a late push to equalize, their best chance coming with just 20 seconds remaining in the game on a long shot by senior Alexandra Rohloff.  The Tigers outshot the Cardinals 14-6 in the game.

Goalkeeper Brooke Seavitt made six saves in net for Fisher.
