St. John Fisher 6, Alfred 3 (Box Score)
The St. John Fisher College women's tennis team picked up its first win of the season Tuesday, as the Cardinals defeated Empire 8 opponent Alfred University, 6-3.

Katie Pasier remained undefeated for the season winning 6-2, 6-0 in first singles and joined Sania Zaki for an 8-6 win in first doubles.  Freshman Rosalie O'Brien and junior Catie Nonenmacher won 6-0, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0 respectively in their singles matches.  The duo also teamed up in third doubles for an 8-6 win, their first as a doubles partners this season.

Freshman Abbey Buscaglia rounded out the Fisher scoring, winning in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 in third singles.


Nazareth 8, Houghton 1 (Box Score)
Nazareth won its third straight women's tennis match Tuesday as the Golden Flyers swept all three doubles matches in an 8-1 victory over Houghton. Nazareth is 3-2 overall. Houghton dropped to 2-4.

Sophomore Ami Petosa was a straight-set winner at second singles and also teamed with senior Alison Tepas for an 8-2 triumph at first doubles. Tepas also won in straight sets at first singles. Junior Adrienne Sharza, senior Krista Pagan and freshman June Logigian also won singles matches.

Logigian and Pagan took a point at second doubles and the tandem of Sharza and freshman #Jennifer Betts won 9-7 at third doubles.

Lisa Jones was the lone winner for Houghton as she won sixth singles, 6-0, 6-3.
