Susquehanna Takes Fifth at Gettysburg Invite

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Susquehanna men’s golf team finished fifth out of 13 teams at Thursday’s Gettysburg Fall Invitational.

McDaniel won the invitational with a team score of 301 (+13), followed by Franklin & Marshall in second (304, +16). York was third (309), followed by Messiah (311) and Susquehanna (313).

The Crusaders had two golfers finish in the top 20 in Donny DeRemer and Stephen Welkie, who both tied for 16th after shooting 77s on the par 72, 6713-yard course.

Anthony Canarie was just outside the top 20 as he took 21st with a score of 79. Ryan Bruvik was a mere one shot behind with an 80, placing him tied for 27th, and Kevin Phelan shot an 85 to take home 50th.
