CANTON, N.Y. -- Nazareth's men's tennis team competed Saturday and Sunday at the SLU Fall Classic against five other schools.

The Golden Flyers got a first singles win from sophomore Tyler Williams over Ithaca Griffin Reid Saturday. He was eliminated in the next round by Rochester's Boris Borovcanin in straight sets 6-2, 6-3. UR dominated the first flight as the Yellowjackets occupied all four semifinal positions with Borovcanin ultimately defeating teammate Matt levine in the final 6-1, 6-2.

In the first doubles flight, Williams teamed with senior Erik Manske to win a match in the first round as they combined to defeat RIT's Amos Baptiste and Chandler Daub 9-8. Manske and Williams then lost in the quarterfinals to Ithaca's combination of Dsvid Anderson and Zach Passman, 8-0.
