The honors continue to roll in for Ithaca's tight end Jared Prugar and Salisbury University senior Jeremy Keith, who were named to the D3football.com Team of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday night. The Team of the Week recognizes the best players or groups at each position from across NCAA Division III football.

Prugar had six catches for 165 yards for the Bombers at Union. It marked career-high totals in catches and receiving yards, and his 56-yard catch in the second quarter set up Ithaca's first touchdown. Prugar also had a 41-yard reception in the fourth quarter. He ranks 13th nationally in receiving yards per game, with 253 yards through two games, an average of 126.5 yards per game.

Ithaca returns to action Saturday at noon at Buffalo State, which is the conference opener for both teams. The game will be shown on Time Warner Sports Channel throughout New York State, and can be found on channels 324 and 325 in Central New York.

Keith, a defensive lineman, helped Salisbury (1-2) to 28-10 win against the Battling Bishops with his four sacks, pushing N.C. Wesleyan back 31 yards, including an 11-yard sack on the final play of the game, while adding another tackle for loss on the day.

The Centreville, Md., native is currently ranked fifth in the NCAA with 2.2 sacks per game, and is eighth nationally with 3.0 tackles for loss per game. Keith is first in the Empire 8 Athletic Conference in both categories.

Salisbury is on its bye week before opening Empire 8 play next Saturday, Oct. 5 at Utica College. That game is scheduled to kickoff at 12 p.m.
