Gulick, Hudacek Spark Royals Past King's & Wilkes

MOOSIC, Pa.—Senior co-captains Grant Gulick and Charles Hudacek carded rounds of 75 and 76, respectively, to lead The University of Scranton men’s golf team to victories over King’s College, 318-339, and Wilkes University, 318-377, Wednesday afternoon at Glenmaura National Golf Club.

Gulick earned medalist honors with his sixth sub-80 round of the season to help the Royals remain undefeated (5-0) in dual-meet competition this fall.  Hudacek tied his season-low round today, carding his third 76 of the year.  

Scranton also received an 81 from junior Josh Jimenez, 86s from freshman Steven Lambrinakos and senior Brandon Gano, and a 90 from freshman Tyler Huggins.

Freshman Ryan Tracy led the Monarchs with a 76 and freshman Mike Post fired a 78.  Senior Michael Daubert posted Wilkes’ lowest score with a 91.

The Royals will return to action this Friday, September 27, against Marywood University at 1:00 p.m. at the Scranton Municipal Golf Course in Mt. Cobb.
