MORRISVILLE, NY – Hartwick volleyball garnered its fourth win of the season Thursday night in a 3-1 victory over host Morrisville State. The Hawks won the first two games of the match, 25-17, 25-18, and iced the win in the fourth, 25-15, over the Mustangs.

Sophomore Hannah Strom, junior Dana Martin, and senior Katie Ryan  combined for 27 of the Hawks' 42 kills in the match.

Martin registered nine kills to go along with six service aces and six digs on the night. Strom recorded the team-high in kills with 11 and she contributed four aces. Ryan notched seven kills for the Hawks.

Christine Confer contributed six kills for Hartwick with Ashlynn Mohan adding four. Quincy Kinzel delivered 20 assists and accumulated seven digs. Hannah Armstrong added 12 assists for 'Wick. Alyssa Zeitler had six digs.

Hartwick (4-13) is off until next weekend at the Elmira conference crossover. The Hawks play the host Soaring Eagles on Friday, October 4 at 4 p.m.
