The No. 3 Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team continued its hot start to the season with a dominant 5-0 win over NYU-Polytechnic in the Ducks' home opener on Wednesday night.
The Ducks had complete control throughout the game as they cracked 24 shots, 14 of which were on frame, while limiting the Blue Jays to a lone effort on goal which senior goalkeeper

The Saxons controlled the pace of the game, outshooting the Panthers 25-5 and holding a eight to two corner kick advantage. The winning goal was netted at the 101st minute by Pitt-Bradford.
Senior goalie Samuel Guy went the full 101 minutes in goal for AU, grabbing four saves.

The Ithaca College men's soccer team (0-2) dropped a close contest to Rensselaer (2-1) Wednesday night, falling to the Engineers by a score of 4-2 at Higgins Stadium. Junior Max Bjork and freshman Adam Goldstein scored for the Bombers while sophomore goalkeeper Kenny Chapman made four saves on eight shots.

SUNYIT senior Diego Montaleza broke a scoreless tie with 6:26 remaining in the contest off a free kick from 25 yards out to lift the visiting Wildcats to a 1-0 victory over Utica College on the turf at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium Wednesday evening.
The Pioneers (0-3) outshot the visitors 13-3 on the afternoon. The Pioneers also earned an 8-2 corner kick advantage. Utica senior goalie Anthony Caruso made one save on the afternoon.

The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team dropped their home –opener Wednesday night, 2-0, to the Brockport Golden Eagles.
Fisher's best opportunity to tie the score came in the 80th minute when junior Joel Castelleni headed a cross from the right flank into the hands of Brockport goalkeeper Casey Sullivan. Brockport won the shot battle with eight, compared to Fisher's four.
