OSWEGO INVITATIONAL (Ithaca and St. John Fisher) RESULTS
Ithaca and St. John Fisher competed in the Oswego Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 7. The Bombers, who were resting their top six runners, placed fifth out of 13 teams. Fisher took home sixth place. 

Fisher junior Evan Magnussen placed 14th overall with a time of 26:49.0 in the 8,000 meer race out of 162 runners.

Ithaca sophomore Larkin Bohanan placed 24th out of 162 runners with a finish of 27:06.00, while rookie Shane Connor followed in 27th with a 27:18.30 finish. Freshman Jesse Capellaro was 39th with a time of 27:32.10. Jose Ramos was the second Cardinal to complete the course in 28:51.9 for 41st place.

Junior Steve Derderian was the fourth Bomber to cross the finish line finishing 42nd in 27:38.40. Sophomore Shai Ben-Dor followed in 43rd in 27:38.60.


STEVEN A. WARDE INVITATIONAL (Utica) RESULTS
Senior Eric Stevens led the Utica College men's cross country to a victory Saturday as the Pioneers defended last year's win at the Steven A. Warde Invitational hosted by SUNY Cobleskill.

UC placed six runners in the top ten and nine n the top 15 in the men's five-mile run.  Stevens placed third with a final time of 28:38 followed by freshman Sam Anderson who placed fourth with a clock of 28:50.

Sophomore Kyle Cairns, freshmen Erik Winberg and Josh Lee along with senior Morgan Payne wrapped up sixth through tenth place for Utica, just 19 seconds apart. Cairns posted a time of 29:02 in sixth placed while the other three came in just one second apart.  Winberg was seventh with a time of 29:19 while Lee took eighth with a clock of 29:20 and Payne in ninth posting a 29:21.


HARRY LANG INVITATIONAL (Hartwick) RESULTS
Hartwick began their season on Saturday at the Colgate University Harry Lang Invitational. The Hawks finished fourth in the four-team fields, only competing against Division I athletes from Syracuse University, Colgate, and the University at Buffalo.

Juniors Matt Loignon and Gavin Jenkins paced the Hartwick men on the day. Loignon covered the 6400-meter course in 21:40.30. He placed 18th overall. Jenkins was just four hundredths of a second behind him in 19th in 21:40.70. 


RON STONITSCH INVITATIONAL (Stevens) RESULTS
The Stevens Institute of Technology men's cross country team came in third overall at Vassar College's Ron Stonitsch Invitational on Saturday morning in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. with 62 total points.

Stevens trailed Vassar College (52 points) and SUNY New Paltz (34) in the team totals for its second straight third place showing this fall.

Senior Michael Cahill was a top five runner on the 6K course with a time of 19:52.75. Cahill came in fourth overall and was 15 seconds off the pace setter.

Classmate Louis Stengel ran a strong race with a seventh place showing and clocked a time of 20:09.82, while junior Andrew Parlette narrowly missed the top 10 in a time of 20:25.32. Parlette finished 11th at the meet.
