Houghton Falls on the Road to Pitt-Bradford
BRADFORD, Pa. -- The Houghton women's tennis team fell to 2-2 on the season after a 7-2 defeat at the hand of Pitt-Bradford on Friday night.
Jennifer Mechler (third singles) and Ava Bergen (fifth singles) earned the only wins for the Highlanders.
Due to the match's late start, the singles were scored in a 10-game pro set format.
"The team as a whole actually improved [from the last match], gaining more confidence," said Head Coach Charlie Ellis. "Every player got to play tonight."
