Fisher Completes Gordin Classic
The St. John Fisher College men's golf team shot 298 on Tuesday with a two-day total of 903 (303-302-398) to take eighth place at the Gordin Classic in Columbus, Ohio, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.
Chris Blyth led the Cardinals, finishing the final 18 holes two strokes above par. The senior recorded 224 (75-75-74) for 16th place.
Corey Haas (76-73-76) was right behind Blyth with 225.
Devin Solar shaved nine shots off of yesterday's second-round score of 82 and carded a 73 to total 230.
Hogan Cuny remained consistent, recording 77, 76 and 75, to tie for 27th place with 228.
Karl Deuble rounded out the Cardinals scoring with 242.
Fisher returns to action on Saturday for the two-day Mid-Atlantic ECAC Regional Championship at the Blue Heron Hills Golf Club in Macedon.
