Utica junior Ashton Villeneuve continued her impressive performance Saturday at the Hamilton Invitational with a seventh place finish out of 161 runners. 

Ithaca placed seventh as a team, followed by Houghton, Utica and Hartwick.
 
ITHACA
Freshman Denise Ibarra led the Bombers squad with a personal best time of 19:16.6 to finish 23rd overall out of 161 runners competing on the five-kilometer course.

Senior Carolyn Malone finished 33rd and junior Christina Gibble ranked 36th overall. Malone clocked a time of 19:31.7 and Gibble earned a personal best time of 19:34.2 for this distance.

Freshman Georgia Caplen also recorded a personal best time at Hamilton after finishing 52nd in 20:06.8.

Junior Sydney Glenn crossed the finish line in 20:18.1 to place 54th overall.

Freshman Alexis Kindig and sophomore Emma Boyd concluded Ithaca's top seven with 72nd and 88th place finishes. Kindig ran a personal best 20:56.2 and Boyd completed the course in 22:04.2.


HOUGHTON
In the women's 5k race, it was Joanna Friesen who turned in the top time for the Highlanders with a 17th place overall with a time of 18:42.4.  Cara Davenport ran a 19:42.1 to finish 38th.  Christel Enriquez-Fisher finished 46th with a time of 20:02.5. 


UTICA
Villeneuve clocked a final time of 18:04 as she has led Utica in all five races thus far.  Junior Samantha Bennett placed second for UC and 44th overall with a clock of 20 minutes flat followed sophomore Sarah DePalma who finished third for the Pioneers and 59th overall with a watch of 20:30.
 
Sophomores Katherine Pearce and Alexandra Buonadonna wrapped up the Pioneer scoring in fourth and fifth place as Pearce clocked a time of 20:47, placing 66th and Buonadonna with a watch of 21:48, finishing in 81st place.


HARTWICK
For the women, Elsa Bock was the Hawks' top finisher. She ran the 5K in 20:30.2.
           
Tricia PhillipsKatherine BartlettMorgan FellowsBrittany Sutliff, and Allison Homler all finished within 1:06 of one another.
           
Phillips crossed the tape in 21:04.3 with Bartlett finishing in 21:21.7. Fellows was next in 21:38.9. She was followed by Sutliff (21:52.9) and Homler (22:10.8).
