ST. JOHN FISHER 2, HARTWICK 1
The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team handed visiting Hartwick College its first conference loss in a 2-1 overtime game on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Cardinals are 5-8 overall and 3-1 in conference play, while the Hawks fall to 7-3-1 and 3-1-1.

Hartwick's Casey Boucher opened the scoring in the 15th minute off of a corner kick from teammate Kylie Thayer to give Hartwick an early 1-0 lead.

The Hawks held onto that lead until the final few minutes of the game. Jackie Romano found Taryn Guinta to score her fourth goal of the season.

Heading into overtime, Fisher held a 21-6 shot advantage over Hartwick.

The overtime period wouldn't last for long, as Romano scored her first career goal just three minutes in to seal the win for Fisher. Allison Mooney earned the assist on the game-winner.

Goalkeeper Brooke Seavitt made three saves in the 93 minutes in between the posts.

ITHACA 2, NAZARETH 1 (OT)
The No. 25 Ithaca College women's soccer team defeated No. 21 Nazareth late Sunday afternoon, dropping the Golden Flyers in overtime by a score of 2-1 at Carp Wood Field. The win improves the Bombers' overall record to 10-2-0, with a mark of 5-1-0 in the conference.

Juniors Kelsey King and Sarah Woychick each scored for Ithaca, while junior goalkeeper Beth Coppolecchia stopped 4-of-5 Nazareth shots in the victory. The Bombers had the advantage in shots, recording 15 to Nazareth's one. They also held a slight edge with six corner kicks to the Golden Flyers' five.

After a scoreless opening half, King opened the scoring with her 10th goal of the season in the 69th minute. King stole the ball on the far side goal line, before faking inside on the Nazareth keeper. King brought the ball back out towards the goal mouth, and slid a shot through the keeper's legs for the 1-0 Ithaca lead.

The Golden Flyers would score to even the contest in the closing minutes, sending a high near side shot past Coppolecchia at 83:20. Neither team scored in the final seven minutes, sending the game to overtime.

Just under six minutes into extra time, King once again took possession and found Woychick streaking in on the far side. Woychick took the pass across the box, and beat the keeper to the bottom left corner for the goal. Woychick's tally marked her second game winner of the season, and ended the contest with a score of 2-1 in Ithaca's favor.
