Utica Remains in "Receiving Votes" Category in National Poll
For the fourth week in a row, the Utica College field hockey team is receiving votes in the NFHCA national poll, released Tuesday.
The Pioneers (12-1, 6-0 Empire 8) picked up 67 votes, which is good enough for second in the "receiving votes" category, behind Mulhenberg College.
Utica went 3-0 last week, defeating Brockport, Ithaca College and Stevens Institute of Technology.
The Pioneers move their program-best winning streak to ten games and remain unbeaten at home. UC will travel to Washington, PA Saturday, Oct. 18 for a conference match up against Washington & Jefferson College. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
