Connecticut College Invitational  Individual Results | Team Results

Junior Amy Regan topped the field of 259 runners at the Connecticut College Invitational and led the Stevens Institute of Technology women's cross country team to a third place finish on Saturday in Waterford, Conn.

Tufts University, ranked 10th nationally, won the meet with 55 points, while Keene State University tallied 97 points. The Ducks scored 109 points and topped SUNY New Paltz (10th in Atlantic Region, Connecticut College (ninth in New England), Brandeis University (10th in New England) and New York University (18th nationally and fourth in Atlantic).

Regan posted a time of 20:56 on the 6K Harkness Memorial State Park course and beat the next closest runner by 50 seconds. She also set a new course record by 23 seconds.

Sophomore Kathleen Kalbian took 17th overall in a time of 23:10, while junior Kate Moyer finished with a time of 23:28 placing 25th overall.

Senior Christine Hecker was close behind in 27th with a time of 23:32, and sophomore Kaela Earrusso completed the course in 39th position with a time of 23:51.

Freshman Lauren Logan crossed the line in 24:53 to place 82nd in points, while junior Janice Frontera trailed behind in 83rd at 24:55.


Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble 
Ithaca, Nazareth and St. John Fisher all competed in the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday, Oct. 18.  The meet featured teams from across the Atlantic Region as a tune-up for the Regional race, which is in mid-November.
 
Ithaca ranked ninth out of 40 teams, while Nazareth placed 14th and Fisher finished 33rd.
 
Geneseo won the women's meet with a total combined score of 54 points. Oneonta was second with 125 points, and Oberlin took third with 148 points.
 
ITHACA 
Senior Hannah Wright led the Bombers' squad with a time of 23:24.7. She finished 37th overall out of 342 runners.
 
Graduate student Allison Bartkowiak and senior Alexa Rick crossed the finish line in 47th and 51st place, clocking times of 23:32.7 and 23:34.4.
 
Juniors Anna Fay and Michaela Cioffredi earned personal best times of 23:46.2 and 23:47.3. Fay finished in 60th place and Cioffredi 62nd.
 
Seniors Emily Smith and senior Anastasia Diamond concluded Ithaca's top seven. Smith finished 64th overall in 23:48.6. Diamond earned a time of 24:02.0 to rank 78th overall.
 
NAZARETH
Junior Gabrielle LeBihan was the Golden Flyers' top performer as she was 39th overall in the six-kilometer race with a time of 23:26.2.
 
Sophomore Emily Thompson was Nazareth's second finisher, and she placed 71st overall with a time of 23:53.3. Freshman Kimmy Lovett was the Golden Flyers' third finisher in 109th-place overall (24:25.3), and she was followed by junior Robin Wagner in 112th-place (24:28.1). Senior Michaela Gildemeyer was Nazareth's fifth finisher in 129th-place with a time of 24:41.4.Sophomore Jamie DiSalvo and freshman Andrea Larnard rounded out the Golden Flyers' runners in 174th and 241st, respectively. DiSalvo crossed the line in 25:13.1, and Larnard finished with a time of 26:14.1.
 
 
ST. JOHN FISHER
Sammy Van Gee paced the way for Fisher running to an 84th place finish in a time of 24:09.8
 
Sarah Harrington and Jordan Rhen were the next to finish for the Cardinals in 26:45.5 and 27:02.2, good for 208th and 215th place, respectively.
 
Juliet Janicik finished in a time of 28:04 while Marsadez Diver was close behind in a time of 28:08.5 to round out the scoring for Fisher.


Cross Country Only Conference Championships
Hartwick competed at the Cross Country Only Conference Championships today in at Seneca Lake State Park in Geneva. The 'Wick women were sixth.
           
The CCOC was created by long time William Smith coach Jack Warner as a championship race for competitive cross country teams that do not fully support track and field. 

Hartwick's women placed in front of eight different teams. Senior Monica Prager (Salisbury Mills, NY/Washington Mills) finished 21st in a field of 132 student-athletes. She covered the course in 20:53.0. Elsa Bock (Shelburne, VT/Champlain Valley Union) was not far behind in 26th with a time of 21:01.8.
           
Tricia Phillips (Williamson, NY/Williamson) placed 43rd with a time of 21:48.3 for the Hawks.
