ECAC Honors For Bradley and Thayer
Weekly honors continued to roll in for Ithaca College football freshman linebacker
Kenneth Bradley and Hartwick senior midfielder Kylie Thayer. In addition to earning E8 honors earlier this week, Bradley was also selected as co-Rookie of the Week in the ECAC Division III Northwest Region while Thayer was tabbed the Offensive Player of the Week in the ECAC Division III Upstate Region.
Bradley has played in all three games for Ithaca this season and has started the last two, as the nationally-ranked Bombers are off to a 3-0 start. Bradley had 10 total tackles including a tackle for loss in Ithaca's win at Alfred on Sept. 27. He ranks second on the team in total tackles with 19 stops on the year.
Thayer keyed Hartwick to two conference victories last week as she set up two game-winning goals. She also added a tally of her own to have a hand in three of Hartwick's four goals on the week. On Wednesday, she earned an assist on 'Wick's second goal and then added an insurance marker on an indirect kick to help the Hawks to a 3-1 win over Utica. On Saturday, her service on a corner kick resulted in a
Casey Boucher header which proved to be the winner in a 1-0 shutout of Alfred.
