Bradley and Peel Named to D3football.com Team of the Week
Ithaca College freshman linebacker Kenneth Bradley and Utica College senior punter Dakota Peel have earned a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week. The Team of the Week honors selected players from each position on the field from nominees across all of Division III football.
Bradley has played in all three games for Ithaca this season and has started the last two, as the nationally-ranked Bombers are off to a 3-0 start. Bradley had 10 total tackles including a tackle for loss in Ithaca's win at Alfred on Sept. 27. He ranks second on the team in total tackles with 19 stops on the year.
Peel provided great field position for the Pioneers (4-0), punting the ball four times for 203 yards, which is a 50.8-yard average. That includes a long of 65 yards. He pinned Brockport inside its own 20-yard line twice in the fourth quarter. The first was the 65-yarder that was downed at the Brockport 1-yard line with 10:30 left in regulation. The second was a 42-yard punt that rolled out of bounds at the Brockport 5 with 4:05 left in the game. He has pinned opponents inside their own 20 yard line five times this season and he has three punts over 50 yards.
The Bombers and Pioneers will face off this Saturday, Oct. 4 in Ithaca at 1pm.
