The St. John Fisher College football team moved up one more space in the D3football.com Top 25 to 15th in the latest rankings, which reflect games through Saturday, Oct. 18. The Cardinals also moved up one spot to 18th in the American Football Coaches Association Division III Poll.

Fisher racked up 533 yards of total offense, while the defense allowed just 201 yards, as the Cardinals cruised to a 42-7 win over host Utica College on Saturday in an Empire 8 Conference.
 
With the win, Fisher, improved to 5-1 overall and 4-1 in the E8.
 
Six different players scored for Fisher, as the Cardinals gained 338 yards on the ground on just 43 attempts.

Fisher returns to action at 1 p.m. next Saturday at Alfred State College.

Buffalo State (5-1, 3-1) is the only other E8 team to appear in the rankings as they are among teams also receiving votes in both polls.

The Bengals enjoyed a bye week on Oct. 18 and will now host Utica at 2 p.m. on Oct. 25.
