Moravian and Stevens Close Out Fall Competition

LITITZ, Pa. (October 20, 2014) – The Moravian College and Stevens Institute of Technology men's golf teams concluded the fall portion of their schedule Monday in the Franklin and Marshall Invitational.

The Greyhounds had a team score of 311, while the Ducks shot a 322. 
 
The one day competition was held at the par 71 Bent Creek Country Club.

Freshman Kevin Kunkle finished in a five-way tie for seventh place among the 96 golfers with a three-over par round of 74. Juniors Evan Dickinson and Jim Maru and freshman Tyler Smith were all part of an eight-way tie for 30th with rounds of 79. Freshman Matt Miksiewicz rounded out the Moravian line-up with a 95 Monday afternoon.
 
Senior Cameron Hill led the Ducks with a 75 to give him his second lowest round of the season. Sophomore Frank Szucs finished second on the team with a 77, while freshman Austin Binder and junior Justin Niemeier each shot an 85.
 
Host Franklin and Marshall College took the top spot with a 289 while individually, F&M's sophomore Brad Lankler finished first with a 69.
