Play Wraps Up at Mason Dixon Classic

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. (October 5, 2014) – The Susquehanna men's golf team finish ninth at the two-day Mason-Dixon Classic. Stevens Institute of Technology finished 14th. 

The Crusaders shot a two-day score of 643 (328, 315; +67) on the par 72, 6713-yard course, while the Ducks carded a 656. Franklin & Marshall won the team title after shooting a 612, including a low round of 307 on Saturday.
 
The two day tournament was held at the par 72 Bridges Golf Club in Abbottstown, Pa.

Dylan Gladd took home a tie for 31st after shooting a 161 (83, 78). Matthew Schaffner was tied for 35th with a two-day score of 162 with his 75 on Sunday marking the lowest round by a Crusader over the weekend.

Ryan Bruvik and Daniel Wilson both shot 153 to tie for 39th and William McCafferty was 46th with his score of 164.
 
Sophomore Frank Szucs led the Ducks on Sunday with a 78, giving him a team leading 158 for the weekend. Elsewhere, senior Cameron Hill and freshman Austin Binder each shot an 83 on Sunday, giving them a 163 and 167 respectively for the tournament.
