ST. JOHN FISHER 1, Alfred State 0
The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team snapped a three-game skid after dropping host Alfred State 1-0 on Tuesday night.

With the win Fisher improves to 3-8-1 on the year, while Alfred State falls to 5-7-1.

Bryan Rollins scored his first-career goal in the 44th minute as a long pass led to a break and the freshman forward was able to sneak a shot past the Alfred State goalkeeper into the near corner.

The Pioneers outshot the Cardinals 8-7 in the game, however Fisher came out on top in the end.

Josh Klein registered three saves in net for the Cardinals.

ALFRED 2, Fredonia 2
AU men's soccer team tied Fredonia State University 2-2, with two goals coming from penalty kicks.

The first half saw no goals as both teams' defenses played very solid.  The pace of the game was completely run by the AU midfield, maintaining the ball in the Fredonia defensive third of the field.

AU struck first with a goal when Richard Lander came sprinting into the box and ripped a low, hard shot that was parried away by the Blue Devil keeper, Sammy Torrelli to the feet of Nicholas Milliman who knocked the ball into the back of the net.

Fredonia answered with a goal of their own ten minutes later after a tough foul in the box.  FSU's Ryan Keller came to the line and ripped a shot to the right past the diving Chris Gutierrez.  The Blue Devils took momentum from the deadlocking goal and turned it into another in the 79th minute when Ryan Ross came into the box and nailed a cross body shot off the right post and into the goal.

With time running out, the Saxons were attacking frantically and sent a ball into the box that found the hand of a Blue Devil defender, and the referee signaled for a penalty kick.  Jeff Thomas came in to score for the Saxons with just over two minutes left to play, sending the game into overtime tied 2-2.

Neither team was able to mount a shot on goal during either overtime period, and the game ended, 2-2. Gutierrez finished the night with two saves.  The cornerkicks for the game were tied at six.

UTICA 2, Skidmore 2
The Utica College men's soccer team earned a hard fought 2-2 double overtime tie against host Skidmore College on Tuesday night. Trailing 1-0 early in the contest, Utica's Shane Ruffing and Bita Gazashvili each scored a goal in a span of 18:17 to push the Pioneers to a 2-1 advantage in the 25th minute. Skidmore rallied and tied the game midway through the second half and both teams were held scoreless through two overtime frames as the contest ended in a 2-2 tie.

The Pioneers snapped a two game winless streak, to close out their four game road trip, before returning home on Saturday to take on Ithaca College (2-6-2, 2-1 Empire 8) in a key Empire 8 Conference match up at 4 p.m. The Pioneers are now 4-5-3 overall, but more importantly their record in conference play stands at 2-1, which is good for a second place tie in the conference standings with Alfred and Ithaca.

Skidmore, who recently defeated traditional national power Williams College, moved its record to 6-4-2 on the season.

The Pioneers found themselves in an early 1-0 hole Tuesday night after Tim Sullivan netted his second goal of the season just 35 seconds into the game.

Utica responded and knotted the game at 1-1 when Ruffing netted his conference-best ninth goal of the season after a through ball from Gazashvili. Ruffing finished the goal into the left corner past Skidmore goalie Eli Kisselbach. Kisselbach finished the night with four saves for the Thoroughbreds.

The Pioneers took a 2-1 advantage when Gazashvili netted his second goal of the season, off his own rebound from eight yards out, to give UC momentum in the 25th minute of the contest. Gazashvili, a freshman, currently ranks second on the team with 10 points (two goals, six assists).

Skidmore knotted the score at 2-2 when Brock Bakewell netted his fifth goal of the season, off an assist from Sullivan, at 63:15.

Utica goalie David Abdou stopped a career-high nine shots to help preserve the tie through two overtime periods. Skidmore outshot the Pioneers 33-11 on the afternoon and also earned an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks. The Thoroughbreds outshot Utica 7-1 over the course of 20 minutes of extra time.

Hamilton 1, ITHACA 0
The Ithaca College men's soccer team dropped a non-conference road game Tuesday night, as the Bombers fell to Hamilton by a score of 1-0 at Love Field. Ithaca now sits at 2-6-2 overall on the season.

Senior goalkeeper Jordan Gentile stopped 4-of-5 shots in the contest, while sophomore Sean Forward paced the team with two shots. Ithaca earned four corner kicks in the match, beating out Hamilton's total of three.

After a scoreless opening half, Hamilton scored the lone goal of the contest in the opening minutes of the second frame. The Continentals' goal at 47:20 proved to be the difference maker, as neither team was able to score again in the remaining time.

Hobart 6, NAZARETH 1
Host Hobart dominated Nazareth in a non-conference men's soccer match Tuesday. The Statesmen scored three times in each half for a 6-1 victory over the Golden Flyers at Boswell Field.

Nazareth dropped to 3-8 overall while Hobart improved to 7-4-1. Hobart has won the last nine meetings with the Golden Flyers in men's soccer.

Six different players scored for the Statesmen with Nick Dosky and Zico Gaeffke each accounting for one goal and one assist. Jacob Fox, Adrian Colmenares, DJ Clark and Sean Barry also scored.

Trailing 4-0 early in the second half, Nazareth got on the board in the 56th minute on the first career goal for freshman Patrick Gefell. Fellow freshman Sam Tiffany gained the assist.

Hobart had a 25-4 advantage in shots and a 3-0 edge in corner kicks. Freshman Diego Abreu and sophomore Nate Ripic each played a half in goal for Nazareth and each made five saves. Tyler Serafine and Mike Lucas combined for the shutout for Hobart.
