The Golden Flyers' men's swimming and diving teams hosted Brockport Saturday afternoon. Nazareth defeated the Golden Eagles in the men's meet 171-127 with junior Dan Burke taking first in three events. 

Burke won the 100-meter backstroke with a school-record time of :59.48. He was also first in the 200-meter event (2:10.53) and 200-meter IM (2:16.53). Freshman Gannon Connors also performed well in the 100 backstroke as he finished second with a time of 1:05.35.

The Golden Flyers claimed the top three spots in the 100-meter breaststroke with freshman Ibrahim Stungurys taking first with a time of 1:12.26. He was followed by classmate Nicholas Mooney (1:24.92) and sophomore Declan Lyons (1:18.71). The trio also swept the top three places in the 200 breaststroke. Mooney took first in the event (2:47.02), followed by Stungurys (2:47.16), and Lyons (2:54.44).

Sophomore Matt Leverich and freshman Ian Deveney also had first-place finishes. Leverich was first in the 100-meter freestyle with a time of :56.29 while Deveney was first in the 100-meter fly with a time of 1:05.33. Nazareth's 400-meter relay team, consisting of junior Sean Doyle, Leverich, Connors, and Burke also won its event. They finished in 3:51.89.

Nazareth is in action again November 8th when the Golden Flyers travel to Hartwick.
