Stevens to Host NCAA WVB Regional

HOBOKEN N.J. (November 10, 2014) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's volleyball team will host the Hoboken Regional of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Women's Volleyball Championship in the Canavan Arena, it was announced Monday.
Stevens, along with seven other teams, will be playing for a regional title Friday, November 14 through Sunday, November 16. The Ducks' first round match will be against Framingham State University and that will take place Friday at 8 p.m. in Canavan.

On Friday, Clarkson will play Hunter at 12:30 p.m., Tufts will play Springfield at 3 p.m., Roger Williams will take on WCSU at 5:30 p.m. and Stevens will play Framingham at 8 p.m.
The Hoboken Regional semifinals will be played Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. with Sunday's Regional title match at 3 p.m.

Meet the Ducks
- This is the Ducks first NCAA Tournament apperance since 2010, and their eighth overall.
- Stevens is 17-3 in its last 20 matches.
- Of the Ducks last seven wins, only two have gone more than three sets.
- Head coach
Glenn DeHaven has accumulated 75 wins since taking over the program prior to the 2012 season.
- 2014 marked the first conference championship for the Ducks since 2009.

Meet the Rams
- The Rams are making their second NCAA Tournament appearance after winning the MASCAC Regular Season and Tournament Title. The Rams made their last appearance in 2012.
- Head Coach Richard Casali led the Rams to a 23-11 mark this season and recorded his 200
thvictory on the Rams bench. He was named the 2014 MASCAC Coach of the Year.
- The Rams are led by the duo of sophomores Alycia Rackliffe and Julia Wan who were both First Team All-MASCAC Selection in 2014.
- Senior Courtney Wilbur and junior Annie DeLoid were Second Team All-MASCAC Selections.
- Rackliffe was named the MVP of the 2014 MASCAC Tournament after averaging 13 kills, four digs, three blocks and an ace in the Tournament.
