TFRRS Profile

Why did you choose to attend Stevens? A huge part of why I came to Stevens was because of my major. I fell in love with the Engineering Management undergraduate program and no other curriculum could compare to it. An added bonus was the great co-op program and being able to run here too!

What has been the greatest part of your experience as a college athlete? There have been a lot of great experiences so far, but one that will definitely always stick out is qualifying and competing at my first NCAA Cross Country Championship freshman year. It introduced me to a whole different level of Cross Country- such a fun trip.

Who has been the most influential person during your athletic career? Why? The most influential person during my athletic career has been my coach, Justin Wood. He’s taught me almost everything I know about training, racing, recovering and anything else that comes along with Cross Country and Track. His passion for running is inspiring and he gives so much of his time to helping our team become better athletes.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years, I’ll be 24 and out of school, but hopefully still in good shape to run a marathon!

What do you like most about competing in the E8? The schools in E8 are great competition and it makes every championship and season very exciting!

What do you do in your spare time? I’m always trying to keep up with the latest fitness trend so when I have free time I always try and go to some hot yoga classes, spin classes, cardio kickboxing etc. I’m always up for anything fun like that!

Top 3 things on your bucket list? Run a marathon with my brother, drive a Volvo in Sweden, go zip-lining somewhere scenic and beautiful.

What is something most people don’t know about you? When I get a new pair of running shoes, I tie them once and then never untie them after that.
