Pioneers Splash the Express

Aurora, NY (November 8, 2014) – The Utica College men swim and dive team defeated Wells on the road at the Wells College Aquatic Center.
The men won both matches beating Wells by 130 points with a score of 174-44 and completed the sweep with a 58 point victory over ASU.
Junior
Raphael Warnon (Rock Tavern, NY/Washingtonville ) racked up three victories for the men as he took first in the 100 and 200 backstroke with times of 57.79 and 2:00.38. Warnon also waved a three second win in the 100 yard butterfly clocking an impressive 57.71.
Classmate
Anthony Farber (Delaware Water Gap, PA/Stroudsburg) had a solid day as he splashed two victories and a second place tally. Farber grabbed the medal in both the 100 yard breaststroke and freestyle before placing second in the 200 yard breast.
Freshman
Aaron Gudrian (Windsor, CT/Windsor) and sophomore
Jordan Cannan (Macedon, NY/Gananda) inked their first victories as Pioneers as Gudrian edged out a four second win in the 200 yard butterfly and Cannan clocking a 25.29 in the 50 free.
