Nazareth wins at St. Lawrence

CANTON, N.Y. -- Nazareth's women's swimming and diving team defeated the host St. Lawrence teams on Saturday. In the women's meet, the Golden Flyers outscored the Saints 169-127. Sophomore
Cameron Hess was first in the 1000-yard freestyle (11:13.52) and also first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:04.34).

Lillian Masters finished behind Hess in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:24.19. Senior
Madasyn Smith and sophomore
Elizabeth Carro each had a second-place and third-place finish. Smith was second in the 100-yard backstroke (1:07.83) and third in the 200-yard backstroke (2:22.91). Carro was third in the 100 event with a time of 1:08.2 and edged Smith in the 200 event with a time of 2:22.43.
Sophomore
Shannon O'Malley was second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of :58.53, and she was thied in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:07.62. Freshman
Erika Holland added a third-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:06.6.
Nazareth is in action again November 22nd when the Golden Flyers host Fredonia.
