Utica Downed by Herons on the Road

GENEVA, NY – The Utica College women's swim & dive team lost to host William Smith College 124-74 Saturday afternoon at the Bristol Pool.
Utica's
Phoebe King (New Bedford, MA/GNB Voc Tech) took home second place in the women's 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:09.98, earning four team points for the Pioneers. King came back with a first place finish in the 100 yard freestyle after posting a time of 58.55.
Mikey Maxwell (Newport, NY/West Canada) placed third in the women's 50 yard freestyle (27:34), while freshman
Alyson Baribault (Plantsville, CT/Southington) finished second in the women's 400 yard individual medley (5:16.98).
Maxwell also finished second in the 1 meter dive with a final score of 124.90. Baribault continued her strong freshman campaign with a second place finish in the 200 yard breaststroke.
UC falls to 1-3 on the season and returns to the pool next Saturday Nov. 8. The Pioneers remain on the road for one more match against Wells College (Aurora, NY) before their home opener versus Cazenovia on Nov. 11.
