Ithaca Picks Up Three Wins At Hamilton Quad Meet
CLINTON, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's swimming & diving team totaled three victories Saturday afternoon at Hamilton. The Bombers defeated host Hamilton 190.5-100.5, topped Hartwick 179-101 and beat Geneseo 165-133.
The men started the meet off strong, grabbing first place in the 200-yard medley relay. The team of
Ben Kennedy,
Aidan Hartswick,
Lucas Zelehowsky and
Logan Metzger finished with a time of 1:37.25.
Hartswick also added two individual wins on the day. The freshman swept the breaststroke, grabbing a first place finish in the 100-yard with a time of 1:00.61 and the 200-yard with a time of 2:15.20.
Adam Zelehowsky contributed with two wins of his own. He started off his day touching first in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing with a time of 1:44.59. Later in the day, A. Zelehowsky followed up with a win in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.60.
L. Zelehowsky pulled out an individual win in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.37. Metzger added another individual victory for the Bombers, placing first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.87.
Matt Morrison swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. He scored 310.30 in the 1-meter, followed by a 355.20 in the 3-meter.
The men finished the meet with a strong showing in the 400-yard freestyle relay. The team of
Addison Hebert, Metzger,
Connor Schroyer and A. Zelehowsky picked up the first place finish with a time of 3:11.97.
The Bombers are back in action on Dec. 6 when they host the Bomber Invitational at the A&E Center Aquatics Pavilion.
