Utica Falls to Skidmore on the Road
The Utica College men's swim & dive team lost Saturday afternoon against host Skidmore College at the Williamson Sports Complex. The Pioneers lost 152-97 and fall to 3-3 overall on the season.
Raphael Warnon (Rock Tavern, NY/Washingtonville ) posted two wins and 18 individual points as he won the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:03.91 and the 300 medley with a watch of 2:07.14.
Tyler Good (Hanover, PA/Southwestern) racked up 11 points in three events as he finished second in the 200 freestyle and medley while placing third in the 200 backstroke.
UC returns to the pool Saturday Dec. 6
th when they head to Cazenovia for their final match before the winter hiatus. The competition will be held at the Cazenovia College Pool and is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. The Pioneers have already beaten the Wildcats twice this season, both convincingly. UC won in Oneonta, in the season opener, and most recently I at the UC Pool in the squads' home-opener.
