Collichio and Barbieri Named to D3football.com Team of the Week
St. John Fisher College senior wide receiver Mike Collichio and Ithaca College sophomore defensive end Rob Barbieri have earned a spot on the
D3football.com Team of the Week. The Team of the Week honors selected players from each position on the field from nominees across all of Division III football.
Collichio tallied a career-high 174 receiving yards on eight receptions and two touchdown passes in a 35-25 win over Buffalo State. He now has nine touchdowns on the season.
Barbieri had two sacks and a forced fumble to go with seven total tackles in Ithaca's win over Brockport. The Ithaca defense held Brockport more than 200 yards below its season average.
The nationally-ranked Cardinals will host the Bombers in 1 p.m. game on Nov. 8. The winner of that game will win the Empire 8's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament.
